The Financial Academy Forum 2023 Addresses Rapid Changes Impact on Skills of Financial Sector Capital

The Financial Academy (FA) has revealed the date for its upcoming Annual Forum, aimed at developing and scaling up the capabilities of human cadres of the financial sector. The new edition, held under the auspices of His Excellency Mr. Mohammad bin Abdullah Al-Quweiz, Chairman of the Board of the Capital Market Authority and Chairman of the FA Board of Trustees, will take place on 11October 2023, in Riyadh as part of the Academy's strategy and initiatives intended for supporting the Saudi financial sector development and growth.​

Explaining the importance of the event, Mr. Mana bin Mohammad Al-Khamsan, the CEO of the Financial Academy, stated that the Forum has a crucial role in developing and refining the capabilities of the financial sector's human cadres, as it seeks to identify the impact of the rapid changes on the skills, align the capabilities and skills with the future needs of the financial sector, and exchange expertise and experiences in the fields reskilling and upgrading the capabilities of the human cadres in the financial sector.

"The second edition of the Forum covers four themes, namely the rapid changes occurring in the financial sector and the (subsequent) need for new skills; the future of reskilling; the importance of reskilling in the financial sector; the organizations and the application of effective strategies to keep up with changes," Al-Khamsan noted.

The Financial Academy Forum represents a vital and exceptional gathering for decision makers in the financial sector. It is expected to attract senior government officials, chairmen of authorities and institutions, CEOs, and a selection of influential figures in the financial sector, including researchers, academicians, experts and practitioners. It also targets professionals in the areas of finance, investment, banking, financing, insurance, securities, as well as local, regional and international financial sector workers and stakeholders. Multiple local and global financial institutions are anticipated to take part as well. The participants will exchange relevant knowledge, experiences and expertise and review the best practices in an effort to develop and scale up the capabilities of human cadres of the financial sector.
