No, you will not be qualified to obtain the “General Securities Qualification certificate (CME1). However, passing Part 1 “Securities Rules and Regulationsand obtaining “professional certificate (CFA) level 1 qualifies you to work in registrable functions, through direct communication with the Licensing Department at Capital Market Authority and providing them with a copy of both certificates.
