Last February, the Cabinet approved the Financial Academy Regulations by which the FA became an independent, legal and administrative entity with organizational links to the Chairman of the Board of the Capital Market Authority. Pursuant to this set of Regulations, the FA should have a board of trustees to be named by the CMA Chairman.

The FA aims to develop and qualify cadres for the financial sector through enriching and refining the knowledge, capabilities, skills and culture of its staff including top managers and members of boards of directors of the financial sector's institutions. Additionally, the FA is tasked with contributing to enhancing and developing the professional best practices relevant to the financial sector.

The Board of Trustees, as per the FA Regulations, has the superior authority to run the FA's affairs, draw its policies and take necessary decisions to serve its interests within the provisions of the FA Regulations and other relevant regulations.

On this occasion, the Financial Academy wishes all the best and every success for the new Board of Trustees.
