About Program
The Saudi Elite Graduate Program in Asset Management, developed by The Financial Academy in strategic collaboration with State Street, is designed to develop high-caliber Saudi graduates for leadership pathways within the asset management. The program integrates local market context, global industry exposure, and structured experiential learning to equip participants with internationally benchmarked competencies. Over a three-month duration, the program comprises two preparatory weeks in the Financial Academy focused on regulatory frameworks, market practices, and core professional capabilities, followed by a proposed hands-on training placement within State Street’s international offices. The program targets high-potential Saudi talents, ensuring they gain the technical knowledge, soft skills, and unique differentiation that set them apart from traditional asset managers.

The educational curriculum is based on an integrated methodology that combines behavioral learning, organizational empowerment, and practical application within a real work environment. The curriculum is designed as a progressive journey that begins with the Elite Formation Phase, focusing on building professional conduct, executive presence, and leadership skills through interactive modules, applied activities, and intensive behavioral assessments. This is followed by the Organizational Readiness and Institutional Sustainability Phase, which aims to establish a deep understanding of regulatory frameworks and legislation, compliance and governance requirements, and risk management, while directly linking these elements to investment decisions and asset management practices through real-world case studies and expert-led discussions. The curriculum concludes with the Asset Management Professionalism Phase, which represents the core of the learning experience through on-the-job training at State Street and working within multidisciplinary teams, enabling participants to translate theoretical knowledge into professional practice and gain applied experience in line with global best practices. The curriculum is grounded in experiential learning, continuous assessment, and direct feedback, and aims to prepare participants with high professional readiness and the ability to perform effectively in highly regulated institutional environments within the field of asset management.

Admission Criteria
Nationality
Applicants must be Saudi nationals
Academic Qualification
Holding a bachelor’s degree, being a recent graduate, or seeking a cooperative training opportunity, preferably in investment, finance, economics, business administration, or a related field
Academic Performance
A minimum cumulative grade point average of 4.0 out of 5.0, or 3.2 out of 4.0, or 80 percent
English Proficiency
An advanced level of English proficiency, with a minimum IELTS score of 6.0 or equivalent
Professional Certifications
Applicants must hold: 1. CME-4 certification, including both Part A and Part B. 2. Chartered Financial Analyst certification, Level 1.
Assessment Center
Successful completion of The Financial Academy’s assessment center, which includes psychometric assessments and panel interviews with the program selection committee.
Asset Management Exam
At the end of the second phase, participants are required to pass a specialized technical assessment in Asset Management as a core requirement to progress to the on-the-job training phase at State Street offices, and to verify their technical readiness.
