The Financial Market Innovation Hackathon is the first innovation-focused hackathon dedicated to the Saudi capital market. Held in strategic partnership with the Capital Market Authority (CMA), it brings together developers, data scientists, designers, and finance professionals to create innovative solutions that address real challenges in the capital markets. The hackathon aims to foster financial innovation and contribute to achieving the goals of Saudi Vision 2030.

The program is built on a modern learning model that integrates experiential learning, design thinking, and collaborative solution development. It begins with immersive briefing sessions that familiarize participants with real challenges in the Saudi capital markets while introducing cutting-edge trends in FinTech, artificial intelligence, and data analytics. Participants then progress through structured phases of innovation design using Design Thinking and Project-Based Learning frameworks, guided by mentors and subject-matter experts from the financial and technology sectors. Throughout the hackathon, teams receive daily mentorship and feedback sessions to refine their concepts and enhance execution quality. The program culminates in final presentations evaluated by a specialized judging panel based on innovation, feasibility, and market impact within the financial ecosystem.
