A CMA mandated exam that is provided in cooperation with the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment (CISI). This exam provides persons to be registered as corporate finance professional with the knowledge of the Capital Market Authority’s implementing regulations. It covers several regulations such as the Rules of Offering Securities and Continuing Obligations, special purpose entities, the Regulation of Mergers and Acquisitions, in addition to the Regulation of Corporate Governance. Note: The professional qualification consists of two examinations, both of which must be passed to obtain the certificate: Corporate Finance Technical Foundations (CME-5A), and Saudi Capital Market Rules and Regulations – Corporate Finance (CME-5B). Please note that, to be eligible for support from the Human Resources Development Fund (HRDF), candidates must successfully pass both examinations listed above, fulfill all requirements for obtaining the professional qualification, and submit the qualification certificate, which will be sent to the candidate via email. Support is not granted for passing only one of the examinations. Eligibility for support is achieved only after successfully passing both examinations and obtaining the professional qualification certificate.
