The objective of this exam is to ensure that all registered persons or those intending to register with CMA have an advanced level of knowledge and skills in the core business of the capital market, including the regulations and laws of this function. •Note: 1)The General Securities Qualification Exam (CME 1) consists of two parts, Securities Rules and Regulations AND Securities Operations. Examinees should pass BOTH parts in order to be a CME 1 Certified. 2)Applicants who prove passing level 1 of the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Exam will be exempted from part 2 of The General Securities Qualification Exam: Part 2: Securities Operations when registering for CME4 and CME5.
