The Corporate Finance Technical Foundations Certificate (CME-5) is a mandatory qualification required by the Capital Market Authority (CMA) for professionals working in the field of corporate finance. The qualification is offered in collaboration with the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (CISI). This certificate is designed to equip participants with the fundamental knowledge and technical skills required for a career in corporate finance. The study material covers the key concepts, principles, and methodologies of corporate finance, while also enhancing candidates' understanding of how corporate finance transactions are structured and developed to meet client needs and market requirements. Note: The professional qualification consists of two examinations, both of which must be passed to obtain the certificate: Corporate Finance Technical Foundations (CME-5A), and Saudi Capital Market Rules and Regulations – Corporate Finance (CME-5B). Please note that, to be eligible for support from the Human Resources Development Fund (HRDF), candidates must successfully pass both examinations listed above, fulfill all requirements for obtaining the professional qualification, and submit the qualification certificate, which will be sent to the candidate via email. Support is not granted for passing only one of the examinations. Eligibility for support is achieved only after successfully passing both examinations and obtaining the professional qualification certificate.
